About Us

Bulls RSA was a sub-branch of the Rangitikei RSA until it became an entity in its own right, relocating to the current High Street premises and officially opening in April 1995. The building was then expanded, using voluntary labour provided by club members. Membership comprises ‘returned’, ‘service’, and ‘associate’ members. The club currently has 240 financial members and is always on the lookout for more!

An annual fee of $40 is paid by all three types of member. The club has three 8-ball and one snooker table, as well as seven dart boards, available for both social and competition use. ‘Texas Hold’em Poker’ is played on Wednesday nights and a live band entertains on the middle Saturday of every month.

A courtesy van is available to be booked for transferring members to and from the club – for a donation. The van will travel as far as Marton for a group. Members should contact the club for this service.

Car parking is available at the rear of the club, with access off High and Criterion Streets.

There is no restaurant but members and visitors are welcome to bring in food purchased from any of the many outlets in Bulls, to enjoy with your drink while you’re using the club’s facilities. There is also a pizza and nibbles menu at the club with orders placed at the bar, and the food delivered to the club by the local provider.

The operation of the Bulls RSA is subject to change, depending on the economic and social environment.

The Club President is Alistair Stewart  and the Secretary/Treasurer Tracey Holdaway.
